Can I come in just for food and not play games?
Of course! If you’re just stopping by for a bite to eat or a drink then there is no cover charge to pay. There's something for everyone on our diverse plant-based menu. If you do decide to play games during your booking, your gaming time starts from when you got your table and not from when you started playing games.
How much does it cost to play games?
There is a cover charge of £2 per person per hour (minimum 2 hours). This fee helps us to keep our staff in the know and improve our library of board games. The cover charge is rounded up, so if you book for 2 hours and go into a third then the additional hour charge will apply even if you don’t stay for the full hour.
Are you dog-friendly?
Yes! We are dog friendly so please feel free to bring your pups along!
Is Slice + Dice accessible for mobility issues?
Unfortunately the old building doesn’t allow us the space to make the changes needed to make us fully accessible. We have tables accessible in an area with one step but all of our bathrooms are up a set of stairs.
Can I bring my own games to play?
Yes you can! If you are exclusively playing your own games before 6pm on weekdays then you don’t have to pay our cover charge. If your booking goes beyond 6pm on weekdays or is on the weekend then the usual cover charges apply.
Are there discounts available for the gaming charge?
We have an annual membership that gets you half price gaming as well as free gaming before 6pm on weekdays. Full details of the membership perks can be found here.
Children 9 and under can play for free at all times (adults accompanying them will have the normal charges apply)
Children under 16 can play for half price at all times (adults accompanying them will have the normal charges apply)
Students can play for free before 6pm on weekdays with valid student ID
Can I bring my own food + drink?
Only food and drink purchased from us may be consumed on the premises. We try extremely hard to make sure we can cater to all dietary requirements but on the rare occasion that we are unable to meet an allergen requirement then we would permit outside food.
We are a full restaurant and café so we have something for everyone! If you’re celebrating with us then drop us an email or give us a call to chat about cake options too.
Do I need to book?
No always, you are very welcome to walk in amd we will do our best to fit you in. We do get busy some evenings and most weekends so it’s always best to book if you are able. You can book tables for up to 9 people here.
